Johnstown, PA, August 7, 2008—The NATO Maintenance and Supply
Agency (NAMSA) has awarded Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) a competitively won contract to provide Quality Management System (QMS) services at the NATO-operated Kandahar Airfield (KAF), Afghanistan. At a value of € 6.8 million ($10.4 million) over three years, this is the largest international contract for CTC to date.
CTC will be the independent external quality auditor of the NAMSA contractors who provide a variety of services and logistical support at KAF. Two British firms will assist in the effort, Wake QA/nQMS and M&E Group.
“Quality is a way of life for all employees at CTC,” commented Daniel R. DeVos, Chief Executive Officer. “We’re pleased to be able to work with the many military and civilian NATO forces that provide these all important services at the Kandahar Airfield.”
CTC has a 20-year track record in providing quality assurance programs and was one of the first nonprofit research and development organizations to simultaneously certify to both the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO14001:2004 international standards, having achieved this distinction in 1998.
“CTC’s consistent quality standards have earned them a reputation nationally and now internationally,” said Congressman John P. Murtha (D-PA 12).
